Lunch @ Ben’s, Pavilion KL

Most of the time when we’re in Pavilion KL, we would head to Tokyo Street for ramen however Hubby wanted a change so we picked Ben’s as our lunch venue. We have visited Ben’s in KLCC before but it’s our first visit to this outlet in Pavilion.

I always find the interior of the restaurants by The Big Group very nice and this was no exception. Tastefully done, I especially like the tall shutter doors at the entrance.

Komugi Cafe @ Tokyo Street, Pavilion KL

This cafe is nice and tres chic, and I can see why people like to hang out here. The storefront is heaving with baskets of freshly baked French and Japanese breads, decadent pastries and cakes.

We each ordered a cup of coffee, picked some cute and sweet stuffed buns (I don’t remember the exact price, but it’s quite reasonable), and sat down to dig in.

When it comes to the embodiment of a true gentleman, we have always looked to the Brits for example, and with good reason. Leading the charge with dapper suits, brollies and classic bowler hats, Hackett resonates deeply with sophistication and culture. The label opened its first Southeast Asia store inPavilion KL recently, and its arrival on our shores has heralded a new age of dressing for the modern Malaysian man. The Tongue in Chic crew recently snagged a special tour of the boutique, and we were left floating away on the clouds of amazing workmanship and design.

The starting point of the walk through was at the sports section, where polo shirts bedecked the entire room in varying colours. Customers of Hackett are not just buying into the brand, but also a part of a lifestyle and history
